The recent announcement by Governor Whitmer to close bars and dining rooms for restaurants will have a major impact on our neighborhood businesses due to the Coronavirus impact.

While the health and safety to our community residents is first and foremost, we also want to continue supporting local businesses as much as possible during these next few weeks as everyone practices social distancing or stays sheltered by working from home, etc.

You can still enjoy your favorite foods from bars, restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops, without dining inside, but rather choosing to use the drive-thru, takeout or delivery service instead. You can also use a service like Five Star Food Express, Grubhub, or DoorDash for local delivery in downriver.

We have compiled the ultimate list of drink and dining establishments in the downriver area who offer takeout or delivery. National fast food chains that have a drive-thru (McDonald’s, Taco Bell, etc.) are not listed because those are well known.
